In 2025, PowerSchool attended ISTELive in San Antonio, one of the largest ed-tech conferences in North America with nearly 500 booths and over 12,000 in-person attendees. For maximum impact, PowerSchool decided on an interactive, open layout, featuring demo kiosks, a 15-foot tall archway, lockers containing free swag, a reception desk, and a functioning theater.

The PowerSchool events team collaborated with Starr Industries to design the structure and layout. I was tasked with creating the visual identity that would be applied to the physical booth and used across a multi-channel campaign promoting PowerSchool’s presence.

The design took inspiration from a bulletin board you’d likely find in a teachers classroom. Thumbtacks “pinned” important stats and customer quotes on the reception wall and archway. A patterned wallpaper created out of the brands icon set was used for texture throughout the booth - visually tying the different structural elements together.
